Singer-songwriter Chris Whitley died Sunday in Houston. The 45-year-old was born in Houston but called various cities home throughout his career, including his last residence in New York City. The cause of death has not been publicized, but his tour schedule was canceled earlier this year because of complications with lung cancer. more ›
