The big opening this week is Will Ferrell's latest, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Looks to us like Anchorman-meets-NASCAR, and indeed it's produced, written, etc. by a lot of the same people. We found Anchorman overrated, but previews for this look like it's a good fit for Ferrell's particular brand of humor. It's officially Christmas weekend, and that can only mean one thing... well, that actually means quite a few things, come to think of it, but in the context of this -ist List it could only mean one thing: the movies.
